THD Hot Plate Power Attenuator - 8 Ohm - Purple
The THD Hot Plate Power Attenuator - 8 Ohm - Purple is a volume attenuator for tube guitar amplifiers. It lets you run your amp at full volume to get a rich, overdriven tone, but reduces the actual sound coming out of the speaker so you can play at reasonable volumes without losing your tone.
Core Function
- Volume Reduction: Safely absorbs a tube amp's high power and lowers the volume sent to the speaker cabinet.
- Tone Preservation: Uses built-in "Bright" and "Deep" switches to keep your tone full and crisp even at quiet room volumes.
- 8-Ohm Compatibility: Specifically color-coded purple to match amplifiers and speakers rated for an 8-ohm load.
